Royal wedding fever is in full-swing! With all eyes on what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be wearing on their big day, we take you behind the scenes of professional footballer Chris Porter and Cheryl Cunningham’s own fairytale wedding.
The pair jetted off to the South of France to hold their wedding ceremony in a grand Gothic cathedral followed by the reception at a majestic Chateau.
The groom opted for a Scottish plaid theme to his attire with a traditional tartan bow tie. Chris wanted to take the theme even further by complementing his bespoke waistcoat and jacket with the accessories!
However, the tartan fabric was too thick to use as a lining to the garments. The solution? I created an exact copy of the tartan and printed it onto a lightweight fabric that was used to line the waistcoat and suit jacket.
The cufflinks were also handmade in the lining fabric and then customised even further with the Groom and usher’s initials embroidered on.
The suit itself was an elegant double breasted shawl lapel jacket with scoop neck waistcoat. A contemporary yet timeless style that will allow our dashing groom the option to wear this beautifully bespoke suit for more than one special occasion!
